By replacing the gendered “man” in “human,” we reclaim the term to reflect a broader spectrum of identities that exist beyond traditional boundaries. The X serves as a neutral gender marker, much like the ones used on IDs, allowing us to honor and recognize all individuals—regardless of gender. This choice embodies our commitment to creating a welcoming space where everyone can feel seen, heard, and valued, paving the way for authentic connections and conversations.
