My name is Ian Palacios, and I am a Community Manager at Gotcha and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Pride Month has meant something different each year since coming out in 2014. My first pride was all about liberation and feeling accepted in a new community I hadn’t met before. Today, I am 50% of one big love story I share with my partner on social media. Together we are the first same-sex social media account in Charleston and we share our story of how we got here and what makes us, us. Pride is the reason we exist and the reason we are telling everyone that our love story is worth telling too. I am proud of our relationships with business and pleasure and it feels amazing to share it with the world.
